Bristol Goths

Arnos Vale has some special tours happening this autumn
Event Tours
- one-off tours on special events throughout the year

An impressive 93 visitors joined our Sculpture tours last Saturday 11th September for Doors Open Day. But don't worry if you missed it, there are lots of other events coming up:

Sunday 31st October, Dusk - All Hallow's Eve - as dusk descends we visit the graves and hear the tales of some of Arnos Vale's distinguished residents.

Monday 1st November, 7.30pm - Owl Prowl - bird of prey expert Ian McGuire leads us on a discovery of the amazing nocturnal world of Owls. This event is incredibly popular so book early to avoid disappointment.

These usually book up REALLY quickly so if you interested booking the details are:

Day out in the cemetery 29th - 3rd April [Apr. 7th, 2010|11:53 am]
Bristol Goths

Arnos Vale Cemetery (the big one on the A4 between Knowle and Brislington) is having a major open day.

The cemetery has been restored (but not too much) and at 45 acres there is plenty to explore.
The main day will be on the Saturday.  There will be tours, talks, music, reenactors and plenty of stuff for kids to do. Plus owls.
Over that weekend there will also be a Bat Walk, a dawn chorus tour and  a non-denominational service in the beautifully restored Anglican Chapel.
Check out the website at www.arnosvale.org.uk/index.php/eventsandactivities
